Listen to the sonic expression of The Havoc Project. This heavy, visceral beat captures the intensity of trauma and the rhythmic grounding required to survive it. It matters because it is the sonic representation of a first responder's heartbeat—transformed from a state of chaos to a state of focused recovery.

Welcome
THE GHOSTS IN MY HEAD.......
For 15 years, Scott Hembruff operated on the frontlines as a Firefighter, Water Rescue Specialist, and EMT-Medic.
He was the guy shoved through the shattered windows of crushed cars and the medic holding hands during aortic dissections. But you don't survive that combination of careers without acquiring ghosts.
The career was an overflowing filing cabinet of PTSD, from Ground Zero to snowbank extrications.
The DNA defect was the other half of the equation. Born with a genetic cluster now identified as UACTS (including hEDS, Hyper-POTS, and Lupus), Scott's body was a ticking time bomb.
He used the chaos of his career as a daily adrenaline IV drip to keep his failing system online. When a maritime rescue accident ended his career in 2021, the adrenaline shield shattered, leaving his nervous system stuck in a permanent state of "Fight or Flight".
When the medical system looked at the wreckage, handed him a bottle of pills, and walked away,
The Havoc Project was born.

Meet Havoc: a Labrador, Rottweiler, and American Bully mix. She is more than a medical alert dog; she is a living piece of tactical gear. For a handler navigating two decades of first-responder trauma, Havoc serves as a PTSD K9, a psychiatric tether, and a cardiac medical alert system. Using olfactory detection, she anticipates "adrenergic storms" before they peak, providing Deep Pressure Therapy (DPT) and vagal nerve stimulation to manually override the body's "Fight or Flight" circuit. She acts as a surrogate autonomic nervous system—monitoring hypervigilance and personal space so her handler can finally stand down.
The Blueprint Concept was born from a harsh reality: a fully trained service dog can cost upwards of $30,000—a price tag that is often an impossible hurdle for a disabled responder on a broken pension. We aren't selling gear; we are building an open-source, step-by-step training manual. By documenting every scent drill, public access test, and therapy session, we are leaving a "ladder down in the pit" for the next generation of broken operators to follow.
The Chameleon Concept is our strategy for bridging the gap between disabled handlers and active-duty crews. When Havoc enters a station, she wears the "Uniform"—a tactical vest that matches the environment, whether it’s Police, Fire, or EMS. This relatable gear drops the walls of the "tough professional" culture and covertly opens the door for vital peer-support dialogue.
We don't train in sterile clinics. Through Live Station Therapy, Havoc learns in the heart of the chaos, living and working on a 42-foot Clipper at a busy marina. We are taking the camaraderie and operational purpose of the firehouse and applying it to the daily management of disability. We are writing the manual day by day, so the next medic or cop has a blueprint to survive.
